Sand Mill
Grinding Chamber : The central part of the sand mill where the material is processed. This chamber is filled with grinding media (such as sand or ceramic beads) and the material to be ground.
Grinding Media :Small, hard particles (often made of glass, steel, or ceramic) that agitate and shear the material, causing it to break down into finer particles.
Rotor/Stator Assembly : In many sand mills, a rotor or impeller moves within a stator, creating a high-shear environment that helps to disperse and grind the material effectively.
Discharge System :After processing, the ground material is often expelled through a screen or other mechanism to separate the ground product from the grinding media.
